Yahweh Whispers

Does God Love ME?
Does God Love Me?

Does God love ME?

  • You are so mean to people, God doesn’t want people like you.
  • Why would God love you? You are worthless.
  • Even your mom/dad hates you, why do you think God cares?
  • Look at what you did, you are worthless.
  • You can’t do anything right, you are so stupid.

The lies we hear from others tend to drown out the fundamental truths of our existence.  We may hear harsh words from the time we are young children, hurtful words.  When we don’t hear the words, we may experience the treatment.  As children, the words and actions are confusing.  What did I do to deserve this?

As young adults, we see the faces other people show us, and we believe they are so much BETTER.  We compare ourselves to them and find ourselves lacking. The words we heard before become louder. The words begin to become our truth – our way to define who we are.

As these inner beliefs become firmer, we accept the negatives as a picture of ourselves. Some of us will create false confidence that we are amazing and our deeds are amazing – but we feel like imposters. Some of us will feel the pain of inadequacy and lash out at others because we are hurting. Some of us will hide in a shell – afraid for anyone to truly learn who we are.  Some of us will do good deeds and work to gain approval of others, but still never feel worthy.

Inside, we still feel worthless.

But Yahweh Whispers…

‘Even before He made the world, God loved us and chose us in Christ to be holy and without fault in His eyes. ‘  Ephesians 1:4  NIV

‘You saw me before I was born. Every day of my life was recorded in your book. Every moment was laid out before a single day had passed. How precious are your thoughts about me, O God. They cannot be numbered! ‘ Psalms 139:16-17 NLT

‘But even before I was born, God chose me and called me by his marvelous grace…

Galatians 1:15

Yahweh knows YOU!  Yahweh LOVES YOU!

You cannot hide WHO you are from HIM.  You cannot hide WHAT you are from HIM.  You can not do ANYTHING to make HIM hate or despise you. Even the most revered persons in the Bible did awful things – yet each was still loved and used by God.  Your actions, behaviors, or thoughts about yourself (negative or positive) do not determine how YAHWEH sees you.

Noah was a drunk. Yet God called him to save humanity.

Jacob was a liar, a swindler, and a con-artist.  Yet God called him Israel and blessed him beyond measure.

David was an adulterer, a murderer, and a womanizer.  Yet God called him “Beloved”.

Solomon was a womanizer and an idolator. Yet he built God’s temple and was the wisest man ever.  His proverbs are quoted, taught, and utilized more than any other philosopher’s other than Christ.

Paul was a murderer, committing religious genocide.  Yet he founded and led most of the Churches after the death of Christ.

You can not hide from your Yahweh, the Creator.

‘O Lord , you have examined my heart and know everything about me. You know when I sit down or stand up. You know my thoughts even when I’m far away. You see me when I travel and when I rest at home. You know everything I do. You know what I am going to say even before I say it, Lord . You go before me and follow me. You place your hand of blessing on my head.’ Psalms 139:1-5

There is NOTHING you can do, say, or feel that will surprise Yahweh.

‘I can never escape from your Spirit! I can never get away from your presence! ‘ Psalms 139:7

He loves you and is always there when you to turn to Him.

Our prayer for you:

Heavenly Father, we ask that You reveal Yourself to the one receiving this Whisper.  Please show them Your love for them and Your grace.  Show them in each moment, in each today, and in each tomorrow. Open their eyes to Your love and grace. Guide their path to You. In the name of Jesus Christ, Amen.
